Steps to make to make Suji Dhokla

  1. Transfer suji and fresh beaten curd in a mixing bowl. Mix properly.
  2. Add ½ bowl water to make a smooth and lumps-free batter. Cover it and keep it aside for 20 minutes.
  3. After 20 minutes add ginger...turmeric...salt.sugar...green coriander...oil and mix well.
  4. Now add the fruit salt and drop 1tbsp of water on it...it will be activated. Mix well. Don't overmix.
  5. Immediately transfer batter in a pre-greased baking tin. Add 2 bowls of water in a karahi. place a wire stand in it and let the water boil.
    Keep the tin in a preheated karahi for 20 minutes.
  6. After 20 minutes. Check with a knife. if the knife is clear it means done. let it cool down.
  7. Take 1 tbsp oil in a tarka pan add 1 tsp mustard seeds. Let it crack add ½ tsp sesame seeds 8 to 10 curry leaves and 2 green chilies.
  8. Pour this tarka on dhokla.
